After quite a run of boys, I finally got another baby girl in my Caversham studio! :D While I LOVE baby boys, I was really looking forward to using lots of pinks and purples as per Mum's request :)

6 week old Kate was very calm and sleepy for her photoshoot. She was fed prior to coming to the session which seemed to have knocked her out pretty well. We started with some family shots while she was somewhat awake, then we went onto a cute little Christmas setup. Next, I tried to put her down in a basket 4 times, but each time she realised she wasn't being held, she started to squawk (which completely reminded me of how my son was!). So we moved onto some beanbag poses, and with the help of a dummy, Kate drifted off nicely. We went back to the basket setup and this time she went down easily and basically posed herself! Finally, we finished off the session by capturing some adorable sleep smiles - what a way to end the shoot <3
