I loved capturing this trio in their newborn bubble! Mum had requested more of a lifestyle newborn session, rather than posing and setups, which is no problem at all! I try to accommodate my clients to create the gallery of their dreams <3 Baby was a couple of weeks old for this session and for the most part, slept all the way through! We did this session at two locations, the first part was at their home and the second part was at their second home (the beach) :) For the in-home portion, we focused on the family of three, and then brought in their two fur babies. Animals always add a fun challenge to the mix, and after eating some cheese, they decided to say cheese ;) I love being able to capture shots of the WHOLE family together - Mandurah in-home newborn sessions for the win! Can I just remind everyone, even if it’s not with me, please book a newborn photoshoot. I don’t see how anyone could possibly regret it. I didn’t get newborn photos done for my first son (thinking that I could do them myself..HA!) I wish I could go back in time. That is something I will always look back on and think, if only I knew better. Then with my second son, we learned our lesson and booked a session but it was at the photographer’s studio. The photos were nice enough (except the family and sibling shots - see below explanation), but it meant we had to pack everyone up and get there on time (SO stressful), my baby HATED car rides (oh, the shrieking!!!), my toddler was acting very awkward as he was uncomfortable in new surroundings (cue awkward looking family and sibling photos), and it would have been so much easier to just have someone come to us and take photos of us in our own home, where our memories lay, where our lives happen. I LOVE being able to offer in-home newborn sessions because we get a mix of your home setting plus studio setups, so it’s really the best of both worlds. Every session feels different and unique, because it is! <3
