I was a bit hesitant to book this Mandurah wedding anniversary party as it’s been SEVERAL years since I photographed my last event! But I am SO GLAD that I did this one - this family was so very warm and welcoming from the minute I stepped inside. There was tons of love and tons of laughter - it was such a joyous occasion to be a part of <3
The daughter of the happy couple had booked this for her parents and had organised a whole weekend of family celebrations. She even got congratulatory messages sent to them from several government officials and even the King of England!!! But that’s not all, folks! Her brother wrote the most perfect song for them to dance to. I got to hear it the day before and found myself in tears - it was so touching and told their love story in a very moving way (with a few funny bits thrown in for good measure!) His wife had made a stunning cake, which was as delicious as it looked! I was having such a wonderful time that I didn’t even realise my time was up, but I guess all good things must come to an end. We ended up with a good mix of posed shots and candid shots and I think the day was captured beautifully for them to cherish forever :)
