I felt very honoured when Eva and Stanley chose to book me as their maternity and newborn photographer. Their pregnancy is a special one indeed, as this baby is their rainbow baby. They have had 3 losses and then endured IVF on their journey to parenthood, and they couldn't be more excited to meet their "little squishy". Since it was forecast to be raining for their scheduled session date, we decided to bump it up a few days to beat the rain. Eva and I met at a lovely garden to take some solo shots while Stanley was finishing up at work. Eva came with several different props, and we tried to incorporate as much as we could in the time we had. She went to pick up Stanley and by the time they returned, it had started raining. I mean, you can't have a rainbow (baby) without the rain! We decided to finish up the session at my Caversham home studio, where it was warm and dry :) Eva looked so beautiful in her own dresses and I absolutely loved her complementing floral crowns! Looking forward to meeting their little baby very soon <3
